While we’re on skincare, Haakaa has a great range of lotion balms for mum and bubs, as well as a  gorgeous bust oil for once you’ve finished your breastfeeding journey. Staying with mum for a moment, we have three – one for each stage of that pregnancy and breastfeeding journey. First up is the Belly Bliss Lotion Balm. This balm is created to help ease the appearance of stretch marks, as the gentle floral scent works to relieve the nausea so many people experience during pregnancy. For many who breastfeed, sore nipples are a very real, all-too-common issue. That’s exactly why we’ve introduced our own lanolin Nipple Cream. Made of 100% ultra-pure medical-grade lanolin, this gentle cream protects your nipples and lets them heal. Because this is designed for such a sensitive area and time, it contains no additives – that means no fragrances and no preservatives to keep everything hypoallergenic. It’s even gentle enough that you can use it as often as you like, and there’s no need to remove it before breastfeeding. Just apply it to your nipples after feeding or whenever you feel it’s necessary! You can even use it before you give birth. Pop a little onto each nipple – a pea-sized amount is plenty – a couple of times a day to help promote soft, supple skin to help prepare your body.

Our Bust Oil, on the other hand, is specifically for once your breastfeeding journey is over. This unique blend of 12 different oils helps to moisturise and tighten your skin once you’re no longer breastfeeding, and it smells  amazing. It also promotes improved blood circulation, both through the oils themselves  and through massaging it in. Just note: this oil is not for use during pregnancy or nursing.

Sweet Dreams is a lavender-based balm designed to be massaged into your baby’s skin after their bath or before bedtime to help relax them, easing them into sleep.

If you find your little one has a minor cough or cold, help ease it with our Breathe Easy Balm. Lavender oil helps to relax them, while the essential oils of eucalyptus, tea tree, peppermint, thyme and lemon work to clear noses and facilitate easier breathing, making this a great little product to have on hand.

Last on the baby balm list is the incredibly helpful Restore & Adore Balm. This has been formulated for those wee ones who struggle with dry skin or eczema, helping to restore moisture and ease any inflammation and itching they may have. One of the key ingredients in this formulation is kawakawa-infused coconut oil, which has enormous benefits when used as a topical treatment for skin problems.
